Summary[]
Chimera Ants (キメラ゠アント or , Kimera Anto) are extremely dangerous insects designated quarantine level one. Also known as "Gourmet Ants" (グルメアント, Gurume Anto) due to carefully selecting their food, they have voracious appetites and can consume several times their own weight within a single day. It is not uncommon for Chimera Ants to devour their preferred fodder species to extinction.

Attack: City: Meruem managed to bearly survive the Poor Man's Rose Bomb, who would have died if not for his Royal Guards (Became stronger post-healing). Small Town: Meruem managed to over power Isaac Neterou who is commonly referred to as the most powerful human Nen user in the world; however, Netero claims that he is far past his prime. Small Town: Neferpitou managed to survive an attack from casual Neterou (It also managed to briefly fight Gon Freecss in his powered up form) (Other Royal Guard Member should be comparable). Multi-City Block: Squadron Leaders like Leol and Zazan were capable of facing off against powerful Hunters like Morel or individuals such as Feitan (Other known Squadron Leaders should scale). Small Building: Officers like Rammot who was comparable to Gon Freecss after leaving Greed Island (Other known Officers should scale). Street: The strength of regular Chimera Ants who are human-types should be comparable to regular humans. Below Average Human: Normal Chimera Ants strength.
Durability: Small Town-City: Meruem is able to tank damage from Isaac Netero (Barely managed to survive the Poor Man's Rose). Small Town: The durability of Royal Guard Members. Multi-City Block: Squadron Leader members durability. Small Building: Gon should be this level when compared to his more standard attacks. Street: The durability of most standard Human-Type Chimera Ants. Below Average Human: Normal Chimera Ants durability.
Speed: Massively Hypersonic: Meruem is capable of keeping up and out pacing Isaac's attack speed. High Hypersonic+: Squadron Leaders like Leol should be comparable to high level Hunters. Hypersonic: Officers like Rammot should be comparable to Gon's speed post Greed Island Arc.
Strengths/Pros[]
Even in a injured state, A 2 meter tall Chimera Ant Queen managed to slip under the radar of skilled Hunters who are proficient in Bio-hazard containment and started to build up her colony. With the birth of Human type Ants, they are able to quickly adapt Human social skills and intuitive traits and develop their Nen. When they started creating human type Ants, they were quick to adapt and overpower even novice Hunters, and even higher rank Ants taking on stronger hunters too, They even managed to ravage entire countries to the point of the population's near eradication.
Weaknesses/Flaws[]
Even as powerful as the Ants became when devouring humans and assimilating their genes and using Nen, they failed to comprehend the destructive power of Humans such as the use of the Poor Man's Rose bomb which is both destructive and lethal.
