This page is to talk about the differentiation between "Illusions" and "Hallucinations"
Illusions
For Illusions, it is a external stimulation to the person's sensories, they can be experiences anyway at any time, people with normal/standard conditions can be effected or harmed by illusions. Multiple people may experience the same type of illusion in similar situations.
Hallucinations
Hallucinations are false perception, they are caused by internal stimulation to the person's sensories, they are usually a personal experience. People that experience these are either mentally abnormal or under the influence of some sort of substance. Hallucinations may not be experiences by multiple people as they are more personal and not effected in similar situations.
NOTE
Sometimes a verse may confuse these terms together, but it is important as to how are demonstrated by the showings and what they do.
